About this site

This website is aimed at parents, carers, and professionals who are enquiring about children's occupational therapy on behalf of a child or young person. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Any information you provide about a child (for example their age or reason for contact) is given by you as the parent, carer or responsible adult. We use that information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary. Contact form: when you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the child's or young person's age, and the reason for your contact. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive medical details in the form; we will gather any clinical information needed during our assessment process. Website usage: if you accept measurement cookies we collect limited public-site usage data. This includes page-view information via Google Analytics 4 and limited marketing attribution via Meta Pixel on selected top-level marketing pages only. We do not use this setup to identify you or to send health details to analytics providers. For details see our Cookie Policy.

Lawful basis

We process your data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) as follows. • Responding to your enquiry and providing our services: we rely on Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering a contract) and, where relevant, Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests in running our business). • Measurement cookies: we rely on Article 6(1)(a) (your consent). Measurement tools are off by default and only enabled if you accept non-essential cookies. • Site operation and security: we rely on Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests). Special category data (Article 9): because we provide health-related occupational therapy services, we may process special category data (such as health information about a child) that you provide in enquiries or as part of our services. We process it on the basis of Article 9(2)(a) (explicit consent) where you provide it to us. We ask you not to include more sensitive detail than is needed in the contact form.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data (contact form submissions) is retained for 24 months or for as long as needed for your enquiry and any resulting contract, whichever is longer; after that we delete or anonymise it unless we have a legal obligation to keep it. Measurement data is retained in line with each provider's policy and configuration. Your cookie consent preference is stored for one year, after which we will ask again. If you become a client, clinical and contractual records are kept for at least 8 years after the last contact, or until the child reaches 25 where applicable, in line with professional and legal requirements.

Who we share your data with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our instructions (processors): • Vercel Inc.: website hosting. • Google LLC: Google Analytics 4 (only if you accept measurement cookies) and Google Workspace / Gmail for correspondence. • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.: limited public-page measurement via Meta Pixel (only if you accept measurement cookies). • Resend Inc.: secure delivery of contact form emails. • Upstash Inc.: rate limiting for form-abuse protection. International transfers

Some of our processors may store or process data outside the UK (for example in the EEA or USA). Where we do so we use appropriate safeguards as required by UK law, such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data is protected.

Your rights

You have the right to: request access to your personal data; have inaccurate data corrected; request erasure (subject to legal and professional obligations); restrict processing; data portability (where applicable); object to processing; and withdraw consent where we rely on it (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
