What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember choices, or understand how visitors use the site. This policy explains how we use cookies on sensphere.co.uk.

Cookies we use

We use two types of cookies: Essential: needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie preference. These do not require your consent under UK law. Measurement: we use Google Tag Manager (GTM) and, through it, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand public-site usage and which pages lead to contact or referral journeys. We use Google Consent Mode, which is what lets the rest of this section be precise rather than approximate: the GTM/GA4 script itself loads for every visitor, but with measurement defaulted to denied until you make a choice. While denied, GA4 sets no measurement cookies, and nothing is stored on your device. If you accept measurement cookies, consent updates to granted and GA4 begins setting the cookies listed below. If you decline or leave the banner unanswered, no cookie is ever set. The one thing Consent Mode does not change: loading the tag at all means your page URL and IP address reach Google's servers before you decide, in the same way loading any embedded script does -- that reaches Google regardless of your cookie choice, which is why we keep this measurement tooling off the /complaints page.

How to change your preferences

You can change your cookie choice at any time. Use the Cookie settings control below to reopen the cookie banner and choose essential only or accept measurement cookies. You do not need to clear your browser cookies to change your mind.
